Nissan and Gibson Must-Have Utility Van for Musicians

If you're a musician, chances are you know how much of a hassle it can be to organize equipment before a show...and it's even worse when that equipment doesn't work. And what's King George Nissan doing giving music advice?

Don't worry, we're keeping our day jobs. The reason for the music spiel is that Nissan recently teamed with Gibson to create an automotive solution to the aforementioned dilemma. The NV200 Mobile Guitar Repair Workshop is precisely what its name infers. It contains everything a musician will need in order to repair their guitar on the go.

Impressive? At a glance, certainly. But it's even more so when you actually see everything it Nissan and Gibson have managed to fit into the compact cargo van. Some of our favorite features include:

  • A guitar rack behind the driver's seat
  • Toolbox with supplies
  • Retractable instrument repair table
  • Retractable Onkyo speakers
  • LED Accent lighting
  • Custom upholstered seats
  • Classic Gibson wood veneer insets on the rear doors
  • And to top it all off - two Gibson stools

All it took was one look at the Gibson NV200 Mobile Guitar Workshop to have us convinced, but it also  has us wondering what else other companies could do with vehicles in the new Nissan lineup. Of course, that's something we'll be keeping an eye on as we move forward.
